Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who earlier this month was accused of grabbing a reporter's arm so hard he left a bruise, is now facing allegations of making advances toward women in the press corps.
A
BuzzFeed News report claims Lewandowski has been making comments of a sexual nature about female journalists covering the Trump campaign and calls female reporters at night.
Both Lewandowski and the Trump campaign said the allegations are false.
"Your story is factually inaccurate," Lewandowski told BuzzFeed. "Be sure before you accuse me of something it's accurate. And, in these instances you are wrong."
The campaign said in a statement: "Corey is a loyal aide and trusted advisor to Mr. Trump, and is otherwise a private citizen who does not deserve anonymous, disparaging and false accusations and will fight back."
Lewandowski is
alleged to have grabbed Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields when she tried to ask a question at the end of a recent Trump news conference. Fields said he grabbed her arm so hard there were bruises.
Lewandowski fired back, calling her "delusional."
Politico, meanwhile, recently reported that Lewandowski's professional history includes several instances of outbursts in the office and acting demeaning toward women.
