Trump: 'Russia Has Never Tried to Use Leverage Over Me'

By    |   Wednesday, 11 January 2017 07:56 AM EST

President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday vehemently denied reports that Russia tried to use compromising personal and financial information against him — and invoked "Nazi Germany" in claiming intelligence agencies leaked the "fake news" as a final shot against him.

He issued a rapid-fire series of tweets to deny the reports, and was expected to answer questions from reporters at a previously scheduled press conference later Wednesday morning.

Earlier in the morning, Trump tweeted a link to an online article about the "unverifiable' BuzzFeed post that purports to be a dossier of the purported Russian blackmail information.
