Gates Foundation Chair Bill Gates told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published Friday that he and President-elect Donald Trump spoke together for three hours recently, covering topics such as global health.
Gates told The Journal in a video interview, the entirety of which will be published next week, that he and Trump "touched on a lot of things."
"You know global health is the area that I work in," Gates said. "Such amazing things have happened and can happen there.
"[Trump] was fascinated to hear what he could do to maximize the chance that during the next four years, that incredible milestone will be achieved," Gates said, speaking on treating diseases with vaccines.
