Painesville, Ohio, a sanctuary city, was the scene of the killing of one woman, a wounding of another woman who had had her two children with her, and an attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl by an illegal alien, named Juan Emmanuel Razo, 35 years old.
The city of Painesville, as of July 30, 2015, posted a notice on its website that it is not sanctuary city, but prior to July 30, 2015 the list of sanctuary cities in Ohio had Painesville listed as a sanctuary city.
Painesville is in Lake County, Ohio, which appears to be a semi-sanctuary county with its acceptance of Mexican Matricula Consular cards, meaning that the person with such card is in the United States legally.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, on July 7, 2015, Razo was stopped by a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy at a golf course at night and Razo told the deputy he was in the country illegally and gave the name Juan Russell but had no identification.
The sheriff claims his office contacted the Department of Homeland Security, the Border Patrol office, and the Border Patrol allegedly declined a face to face meeting with the illegal alien on July 7. The question now is whether the Lake County Sheriff’s office advised the Border Patrol or not about the immigration status of the shooter and whether the DHS refused to deal with the matter of Razo.
However, the Border Patrol apparently takes issue with this view and the Border Patrol said an agent would have been dispatched if asked.
Razo did admit in state court on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 he was in the country illegally.
A Razo immigration advocate asserted Razo had been waiting for more than 12 years for a “green card” and that he was mentally ill. There is a conflict here as officials say Razo has been in the United States for about five years. The immigration advocate asserted the case is not about immigration but about the mental illness of an adult.
Thus, the immigration advocate suggests Razo was victimized by the federal government and the U.S. taxpayers failed to address his alleged mental illness. Illegal immigrant rights groups opine that both the Federal government and the U.S. taxpayers failed in their obligations to this illegal alien.

President Barack Obama’s time in office has seen America in utter chaos at home and abroad. U.S. debt estimated at $18.5 trillion is the price tag of Obama’s “change that can be believed in.” Taxpayers now see the costly Obamacare, an undefined foreign policy, racial tensions, and immigration anarchy in the country causing fiscal and domestic turmoil.
Mixed into these factors is the realization by many Americans that President Obama’s repeated changes of position reflects a hollow man with no real political nor business experience merely a community organizer.
Obama’s utopian change requires fundamental changes in America’s Constitution, form of government, culture, and psyche. His change has occurred by executive fiat, bureaucratic fiat, with classical Saul Alinsky anarchistic Chicagoland politics of class, race, and gender warfare.
Open immigration is essential is the key to Obama’s “new” America. Obama by executive and his bureaucratic actions have by-passed Congress and the American people. He has made America a sanctuary country.
Obama does have the support for “open door immigration” of billionaire naturalized citizen, George Soros, and other One-worlders who seek to rule America by monetary fiat.
As the world knows, Obama will not make any effort to detain and deport those persons who are in the country illegally. Foreign nationals seeking the benefits of America are not dumb, they know the odds of being deported once in the United States are nil.
The average caring citizen knows that the latest death of a young woman, Kate Steinle, in San Francisco by an illegal Mexican alien, deported five times and convicted of seven felonies, was just one of many deaths, assaults, and other crimes committed in that city in the past 20 years because of its sanctuary policy.
No illegal alien criminal will be turned over to the Federal authorities for deportation by San Francisco or any other sanctuary locale unless there is a national outcry, and swift congressional action.
