Planned Parenthood head Cecile Richards has visited the White House 39 times since 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, according to White House records.
Richards made her first visit to the White House on Jan. 20, 2009, the day Obama was sworn into office. She has since visited the president at least three times alone and first lady Michelle Obama twice. She has also met with the two together an additional four times,
CNS News is reporting.
On Richards' other visits, she met with then-senior adviser David Plouffe four times from 2011 to 2013 and with senior adviser Valerie Jarrett five times from mid-2012 and early 2014.
She also met with a number of other White House officials, including then-White House Chief of Staff William Daley and current Chief of Staff Denis McDonough.
Several undercover videos have been released by the Center for Medical Progress, alleging that Planned Parenthood illegally sells fetal body parts for a profit.
The videos have sparked outrage around the country and several Republican lawmakers are threatening to pull taxpayer dollars from Planned Parenthood over the revelations. In 2014, the group received $528.4 million in federal funding.
