She also visited with Billy Graham during a 2009 book tour at his home in Montreat, N.C., 20 miles from Asheville.

In addition to a private gathering, Graham is hosting a massive evangelical event to be broadcast in homes and churches around North America called "My Hope." The living room crusades, an attempt to personalize his message, include a video where Graham offers what some believe is a final sermon to the world. According to his evangelical association, the powerful video, which includes testimonies from a rapper and athlete, will draw on Graham's simple yet eloquent call to eternal salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Graham, a Southern Baptist minister has preached to an estimated audience of 2.2 billion people in 185 countries during a ministry spanning more than 70 years.
Graham acknowledged his concern for the world in an
exclusive interview with Newsmax.
"Our early fathers led our nation according to biblical principles," Graham told Newsmax. "'Hope and change' has become a cliché in our nation, and it is daunting to think that any American could hope for change from what God has blessed," Graham noted in an obvious reference to President Obama’s campaign motto.
"Our country is turning away from what has made it so great," Graham said, "but far greater than the government knowing our every move that could lead to losing our freedom to worship God publicly, is to know that God knows our every thought; he knows our hearts need transformation."
