Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, urged President Donald Trump to stay focused on Hurricane Harvey as the storm gets set to move into Texas.
And Grassley told Trump not to make the same mistake former President George W. Bush made when Hurricane Katrina slammed into the Gulf Coast in 2005.
Grassley’s comments came in a tweet on Friday morning:
And a short time later Trump responded he is already coordinating emergency response teams.
The Hill noted Bush had come under fire for delays in responding to Hurricane Katrina’s devastation.
Meanwhile, the website said Harvey was expected to hit Texas on Friday or Saturday as a Category 3 hurricane and bring up to 35 inches of rain.
