President Donald Trump took a jab at Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and issued a warning to any other Republican lawmaker planning to vote against the GOP’s healthcare bill.
In an early morning tweet, Trump wrote:
The tweet follows a similar one Trump posted two days earlier.
Paul had responded to Trump’s earlier tweet with his own Twitter posting:
NBC News reported Paul had come out against the GOP’s latest healthcare legislation on Monday and said it didn’t do enough to repeal Obamacare.
"This is keeping Obamacare, redoing the formula to give Republican states more money," Paul said. "I mean, that’s as simple as it gets."
Republicans can only afford to lose two GOP senators for the bill to pass, the network news reported.
