Jeb Bush has taken the seemingly unusual step of selling guacamole bowls on his campaign website to help fund his presidential aspirations.
Bush, who served as the governor of Florida for eight years and who is married to a Mexican-American, is asking $75 for each "Guaca Bowle."
"Jeb and Columba love whipping up guacamole on Sunday Funday. Now, you can get in on the act with this 'Guaca Bowle.' Jeb's secret guacamole recipe not included … yet," a message on
Bush's website reads.
Bush is a guacamole fan, reports
ABC News, and he recently took issue — in jest — with a
New York Times recipe that substituted avocados for peas in guacamole.
When asked about the odd recipe and whether he would consider making it, Bush told ABC, "I have not nor will I start now!"
It also became clear that President Barack Obama, despite holding different political views, stood with Bush on the issue of
peas in guacamole.
During an
interview with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" in June, Bush talked about his favorite guacamole recipe.
