Megyn Kelly appears to have broken bread with Donald Trump following months of jaw-dropping insults hurled at her by the Republican presidential front-runner.
The Fox News anchor met with the billionaire developer in his Trump Tower offices along New York City's Fifth Avenue on Wednesday, sources with knowledge of the powwow tell
CNN reports.
Kelly plans to reveal how the meeting went on her program "The Kelly File" on Wednesday evening, the news website says.
Trump first ripped into Kelly last August when, during the first GOP presidential debate, she asked him a question about alleged sexist remarks he made.
Since then, Trump has called her "crazy" and a "lightweight" and even skipped a January debate because she was one of the moderators.
Kelly reportedly fired back, referring to Trump as
"Voldemort," the creepy villain from the "Harry Potter" books. And Fox News accused Trump of having a "extreme, sick obsession" with Kelly.
Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, who has tried to keep peace between the pair, was not present at the meeting, according to CNN.
If it turns out the dueling duo buried the hatchet, Trump could be seen as a guest on Kelly's show in the near future — a possibility that was unimaginable just a few weeks ago.
