Megyn Kelly Reveals How Ailes Sexually Harassed Her, Why Trump Yelled at Her

Fox News host Megyn Kelly said sexual harassment at the hands of Roger Ailes started early in her tenure at the network and that President-elect Donald Trump yelled at her over a story Kelly was reporting.

Promoting and previewing a book that includes stories of both men, Kelly made the comments during a taping of the "Dr. Phil" show that will air Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported.

Kelly, who has a book coming out titled "Settle For More," said her problems with Ailes, former chairman of Fox News, began after only 12 months working at Fox.

"The problem with that meeting (with Ailes) and with several that happened over the next six months was, not only was there legitimate professional advice, but there were grossly inappropriate comments," Kelly told Dr. Phil.

Ailes "said he knew I must have some very sexy bras and he'd like to see me in them," Kelly recounted.

Ailes resigned from Fox amid sexual harassment allegations from host Gretchen Carlson that resulted in a $20 million settlement payout from the network.

As for Trump, Kelly said the president-elect was unhappy that the host of "The Kelly File" had as a guest a reporter looking into former wife Ivana Trump's claims under oath — but later recanted — that Donald Trump had raped her.

Trump "called me up and threatened me and made very clear to me that he was extremely displeased," Kelly told Dr. Phil. "He started screaming at me; he hung-up the phone … and the next time we met was that Thursday night" in August of 2015 at the Republican debate.

It was that debate that Kelly confronted Trump with many comments he had made about women at that time — "pigs, dogs, slobs" — which led to Trump's infamous quote that Kelly had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."
