Roy Moore to Sean Hannity: 'These Allegations are Completely False'

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore continued to deny sexual misconduct allegations leveled at him during a Friday afternoon interview.

"These allegations are completely false and misleading," the Republican Senate hopeful said on the "Sean Hannity Show" radio program, The Hill reported.

"But more than that, it hurts me personally because you know, I'm a father. I have one daughter, I have five granddaughters, and I have a special concern for the protection of young ladies."

A report this week accused Moore of sexual misconduct involving four teenage girls 38 years ago. Moore has flatly denied the allegations and has promised to stay in the contentious Alabama Senate race for December's special election that will replace the seat formerly held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The allegations reported in The Washington Post claimed Moore was in his early 30s at the time.

"I don't remember that, I don't remember ever dating any girl without the permission of her mother," Moore said.

Moore did say that he remembers two of the women mentioned in the Post report, but could not recall whether he had any type of relationship with them.

"This was 40 years ago and after my return from the military, I dated a lot of young ladies," he told Hannity.
