President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in July, Russia's foreign minister said, according to CNN.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told the Russian news agency Tass that the meeting would take place at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, CNN reports.
The White House has not yet confirmed that the meeting will take place. If it does, it will be Trump and Putin's first meeting since the president took office in January, according to CNN.
On Wednesday, Putin said that Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey amid an investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia ties will "have no effect" on relations between Russia and the U.S.
