It's not just conservatives who are tired of mainstream media bias, pollster John Zogby tells
Newsmax TV.
"The polls clearly show us that the mainstream media gets very low marks and is not relied upon by a majority of Americans as main source of news," Zogby said Monday on "Newsmax Prime."

"What you have here really is the media appearing to just simply go after numbers or appearing almost in a death rattle sort of phase, and they seem to be flailing," he told host J.D. Hayworth.
At the same time, front-runners Donald Trump and Ben Carson are scoring points attacking the media, he said.
"Although you can argue even in the last debate Marco Rubio scored a lot of points, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie even picked up a couple of points in more recent polls," Zogby said. "A lot of it having to do with attacking the media openly."
Carson can effectively bounce back from the recent media assaults on his background, author and presidential historian Craig Shirley said.
"The best ploy in politics is always to be on permanent offense," he said. "He's absolutely right about Barack Obama, and they're nonchalant about his record and his sealed files vs. going through everything in his life with a fine-tooth comb."
The mainstream press also doesn't like to see an African-American such as Carson, or a woman who is a conservative because it doesn't fit into their worldview, Shirley said.
Carson is hitting back with a good counteroffensive, he added.
With former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's campaign sinking, his supporters are moving to Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Shirley said.
"The rats have already jumped ship on Jeb Bush and are swimming now toward Marco Rubio's boat," he said. "I don't know if quite frankly there's enough of the D.C. establishment to overcome both Trump and Carson."
More people seem to be coming to see a Donald Trump presidency favorably, he added. Zogby said his poll numbers say the same.
