NRA: Second Amendment Backers Must Vote Against Hillary

The National Rifle Association tweeted Tuesday that the best way for supporters of the Second Amendment to prevent Hillary Clinton from appointing liberal Supreme Court justices is to vote in November.

At a rally in Wilmington, N.C., Trump said that maybe the "Second Amendment people" could stop Clinton from appointing liberal justices — a remark that the Democratic nominee's campaign has slammed as a veiled assassination suggestion.

"Hillary wants to essentially abolish the Second Amendment," Trump said. "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.

"Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don't know."
