Sarah Palin is on the warpath over Sen. Elizabeth Warren's use of one of her favorite slogans, "Fight like a girl."

The Massachusetts Democrat has been using the phrase as she promotes her new book, "This Fight Is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America's Middle Class," published by Metropolitan.

In a recent tweet, Warren posted a photo of herself side by side with the "Fearless Girl" statue that stands by Wall Street's "Charging Bull" in downtown Manhattan.

Later, during an interview on National Public Radio, she uttered the phrase as she spoke about her participation in the Women's March in Massachusetts.

"I saw this little girl, and she was riding on her daddy's shoulders, and she's holding up this sign, and the sign said, 'I fight like a girl.' And I thought, 'Me too, sweetie!''' Warren told Audie Cornish, host of "All Things Considered."

That was too much for Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential running mate of GOP presidential nominee Sen. John McCain.

"I don't know," Palin said in an interview this week with Ian Mason of Breitbart News.

"Coming from liberals who urge women to claim victimization, 'Fight like a girl' just doesn't sound the same as when legit fighters for equality say it, mean it, live it, and will never give it up."

In one of Palin's mentions of the phrase several years ago, she tore into Republicans for not being more aggressive, according to ConservativeRead.com.

"Stand up, GOP, and fight," Palin urged. "Maybe I should ask some of the Badger women's hockey team, those champions, maybe I should ask them if we should be suggesting to GOP leaders that they need to learn to fight like a girl."
