Neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton have gotten a bounce from their respective party's nominating convention yet, as both remain in a deadlock, a new weekly poll shows.

The Rasmussen Reports
survey shows Clinton has a statistically insignificant lead in the latest survey – a reversal of the No. 1 and 2 spots from last week.

Here's the breakdown:
  • Clinton: 43 percent
  • Trump: 42 percent
  • Some other candidate: 10 percent
  • Undecided: 4 percent
The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The pollster noted Clinton's lead this week is the first time she's edged ahead of the GOP presidential nominee in a month, adding the race has been essentially neck-and-neck since last October.

"Last week's survey was taken before Trump's acceptance speech, so if he got any bounce from his convention, it has been blunted by the opening days of the Democratic convention," the pollster finds.

Trump has 86 percent support among GOP voters, while Clinton has 79 percent support among Democrats, but has taken a 5-point lead over Trump among independents.
