Reports: McCain Equates Trump's Scandals With Watergate

Multiple journalists reported Tuesday that Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said the scandals within the Trump administration were reaching "Watergate size and scandal."

"We've seen this movie before. It's reaching Watergate size and scale. . . . This is not good for the country," McCain reportedly said at the International Republican Institute Dinner in Washington.

McCain's comments come hours after The New York Times report President Donald Trump asked James Comey to drop an investigation into National Security Adviser Mike Flynn when he was the FBI director.
