The author of a book that alleged the Clintons got rich via big companies and foreign governments is now wondering why there have been so few emails released pertaining to the Clinton Foundation.
Peter Schweizer, who wrote the 2015 book "Clinton Cash,"
spoke with National Review about the matter.
"The activities of Hillary Clinton during her time as secretary of state intersect with the favor-seeking of the Clinton Foundation," Schweitzer said. "It is strange that so few of her publicly released emails touch on the Clinton Foundation. Maybe the private ones do."
Clinton deleted roughly 30,000 emails off her private server from her time as secretary of state. She turned over 30,000 she said were work-related.
As part of its investigation into Clinton's email scandal, the FBI recovered some of the messages that were deleted off her server. It's unclear whether those will ever be released.
FBI Director
James Comey said Clinton was "extremely careless" by using an insecure email system to conduct official government business, but her actions should not result in criminal charges.
