Conservative political commentator and radio host Glenn Beck said on Monday that he considered voting for Hillary Clinton as opposing Donald Trump is a "moral, ethical" choice, according to The Hill.
"I will tell you that it has crossed my mind," Beck said in an interview on HBO's "Vice News Tonight."
When the interviewer questioned, "To vote for [Donald] Trump," Beck responded, "To vote for Hillary."
He also admitted that he had never considered voting for the Republican presidential nominee.
"It has crossed my mind. I think Donald Trump is so unstable, so dangerous, that it has crossed my mind. I can't do it, because she's just a horse of a different color," he added.
On Saturday, Beck wrote in a Facebook post that standing against Trump and electing Clinton, the Democratic nominee, would be a "moral, ethical choice."
"If the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it. At least it is a moral, ethical choice," Beck wrote after video tapes of Trump surfaced where the billionaire businessman bragged about kissing and groping women in 2005.
After the emergence of the tapes, many Republicans have withdrawn their endorsements of Trump.
