A member of Hillary's Clinton's staff ordered the Secret Service to divert her motorcade from traveling to the hospital for fear of details about her medical condition being leaked, according to The New York Post.

Clinton was en route to the hospital — Secret Service protocol calls for a Level I trauma center — when someone within her campaign had the destination changed to the New York City apartment of Clinton's daughter Chelsea, according to the report.

Clinton was suffering from a previously undisclosed case of pneumonia at a Sept. 11 memorial ceremony and appeared to faint as Secret Service agents rushed her out of the event and into her campaign van.

Clinton's motorcade ditched its NYPD escort, another source told The Post, as it sped away from the Sept. 11 event, even though the department insisted on leading her to the hospital with its marked police cruisers.

Clinton left her daughter's apartment about two hours after her health scare began. She waved to supporters and photographers waiting outside the building and was later driven to her home in Chappaqua, N.Y., where she was visited by her personal physician.
