Some Donald Trump supporters are growing worried about the recent fundraising deal he signed with the Republican National Committee, questioning where the party's allegiances really lie.

According to CNN, several Trump insiders are not convinced the RNC will actually give Trump's presidential campaign all the money he helped raise as he gears up for his general election campaign.

"I don't think the RNC is 100 percent committed [to the deal]," one GOP donor told CNN. "If Donald Trump's seven points down in October, they're going to put that money toward Senate races and House races."

As Trump campaigns out west ahead of the final round of primaries on June 7, some of his supporters were slated to meet Wednesday to discuss the fundraising deal the real estate mogul signed with the national party — and what it means for Trump.

The donors, reports CNN, want Trump to hold fundraisers before the end of the primary season so his campaign can pocket the cash and use it for the general election run.

"Some of us are going, 'Hey, we've got six weeks to really make it rain,'" the aforementioned donor told CNN.

Trump said this week he decided to begin a joint fundraising effort with the RNC because the party asked him to, "and I want to show good spirit."

Trump unveiled this week a list of 20 well-connected Republican donors who will help pump money into his campaign.
