Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday that Congress was moving ahead with building a wall at the U.S. border with Mexico that would cost $12 billion to $15 billion.

McConnell and House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan did not say how Congress would pay for the wall that President Donald Trump has vowed to build.

"We anticipate a supplemental (budget) coming from the administration," Ryan said at a news conference in Philadelphia, where the GOP is holding a retreat. "The point is we're going to finance the Secure Fence Act."
