President Donald Trump took another poke Thursday at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., slamming him again for the GOP's failure to pass healthcare despite "screaming" about it for seven years.
Trump started in on McConnell on Wednesday after comments the Kentucky Republican made earlier in the week surfaced into the mainstream.
McConnell on Monday said Trump had "excessive expectations" about the "complexity of legislating" which has led to the unfair criticism that congressional Republicans have not gotten anything done in Trump's first 200 days.
That did not sit well with the president, who reportedly first called McConnell with an earful before ripping him in a tweet afterward.
Congress is currently out on its August recess.
