President Donald Trump and his new communications director sought advice from Fox News star Sean Hannity and a former Fox executive over dinner Wednesday night at the White House, The Washington Post reports.
The topic — West Wing personnel and politico strategy, The Post reports, though the dinner with Hannity, Bill Shine and Anthony Scaramucci was described as a social gathering.
Scaramucci is a past contributor to Fox News, and Shine was a chief disciple to the late chairman, Roger Ailes, who was ousted from the network just more than one year ago.
Shine also was subsequently ousted at the network.
Scaramucci, barely a week on the job, is seeking advice on reorganizing the White House communications operation, The Post noted.
