Dean Cain, who played Superman on TV, is backing Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential run, according to
The Hill.
Cain is impressed with Perry’s performance on job creation in Texas and sees him as “the right guy” to repair the nation’s economy, the actor told “Fox and Friends” Thursday. So Perry has his “full support.”
Cain, whose career has struggled since “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” said, “It’s always about jobs. I feel it as much as anybody else.”
Perry himself has a liking for Superman.
Asked by a nine-year-old in New Hampshire earlier this month which superhero he’d like to be, Perry responded, “Superman came to save the United States.”
