Tommy Chong, the pot smoking star and half of the comedy stoner duo Cheech and Chong, said he has a demographic plan to win the upcoming battle of "Dancing With the Stars."
Chong, who with Richard "Cheech" Marin, formed the Grammy-winning, marijuana-smoking comedy team who created stoner classics like "Up in Smoke" (1979), "Nice Dreams" (1981) and "Things Are Tough All Over" (1982), will be dancing with DWTS veteran Peta Murgatroyd, in the competition that begins Sept. 15 and concludes Nov. 23,
according to the Los Angeles Times.
"I'm Chong, so there's a lot of Chinese in me, half Chinese. So I'd like to get all the Chinese viewers," Chong says in his ABC "Dancing With the Stars introduction clip, but he was just getting warmed up.

"All the Korean viewers, all the Filipino viewers; and then because of my association with Cheech, he's Mexican, so I want to get all the Mexican viewers. And I'm half Scottish and Irish, so all the Irish and all the Scottish. And I was born in Canada, so all the Canadians," Chong continued.
As Murgatroyd chuckled at her partner's grand plan, Chong then wraps up his fail-proof design by saying his most faithful audience will vote for him multiple times.
"Plus, I'm the king of the stoners – so all the stoners," Chong said on the ABC video. "And they're the type that'll vote four or five times 'cause they'll forget and vote again."
Chong is the father of Hollywood actress Rae Dawn Chong, who starred in such movies as "The Color Purple" and "Soul Man" but found herself in controversy in last year with her "The Color Purple" co-star Oprah Winfrey.
Rae Dawn Chong claimed that Winfrey became jealous when she landed the role of "Commando" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and she used the N-word to describe the now media mogul as she talked about how their relationship fell apart,
according to TMZ.
Tommy Chung later defended his daughter, saying that he did not believe that Winfrey was offended much about Rae Dawn Chong's rant and they could actually work together again.
