Grammy Award-winning artist Adele is a licensed motorist, thanks to an intensive driving course given by no-nonsense instructor Noel Gaughan.
"I passed my driving test this morning!!!" the 25-year-old Adele tweeted last week. She passed her test on his first attempt, on Oct. 11,
according to Gaughan's website.

The "Someone Like You" singer is the latest celebrity to study with the British teacher, who
told The Daily Telegraph that he didn't recognize Adele until she sang.
"I didn't know who Adele was so she started singing in her lessons," Gaughan told the Telegraph. "The problem was I didn't know any of her songs. She would sing some beautiful songs and say, 'you must know this one,' but I don't really know many celebrities."
That's what attracts so many celebrities to Gaughan's popular week-long course in England. Others students include One Direction singer Niall Horan, actors James McAvoy and Rhys Ifans, Mumford & Sons bassist Edward Dwain and supermodel Lara Stone.
Gaughan doesn't recognize many because he said he enjoys listening to radio rather than watching TV.
"I was teaching Niall from One Direction and I just thought he was an ordinary lad," Gaughan told The Telegraph. "But wherever we pulled over there were girls taking pictures and surrounding the car. That made it difficult."
His many famous pupils have written glowing reviews on Gaughan's website.
"Noel is Dumbledore of roads," Adele wrote. "Could not have done it without him and his jokes changed my life."
