Alex Trebek got his revenge on Conan O'Brien this week after months of being the punch line in a popular sketch on the funnyman's late-night show.
The 73-year-old "Jeopardy" host has been the target of a reoccurring bit on "Conan" ever since last spring when the first installment of "Alex Trebek Has Gone Completely Insane" aired. The bit involves O'Brien commenting on how crazy Trebek is and then showing a video montage of the host saying ridiculous things on "Jeopardy."
But O'Brien got a taste of his own medicine Monday night when Trebek showed up in person to set the record straight. First, O'Brien showed the audience the latest segment of the joke video.

"I was watching 'Jeopardy' the other night and I think Alex Trebek is starting to lose it," he says before rolling the clip.
When it was done, Trebek appeared on stage.
"Hello, Mr. Trebek," O'Brien says, appearing uncomfortable. "Obviously we're all huge fans of your show. I was just doing that to have a little fun."
"That's OK, I'm a big guy, I can look after myself," Trebek replies. "But I'm here for another reason. I'm worried about you. I've been watching some of your monologues lately, and I'm concerned. I think you are starting to lose it. Take a look and see if you don't agree."
Trebek then debuted his own version of the spoof video with a montage of O'Brien speaking nonsensically.
