Comedian Betty White prank called "Late Late Show" host James Corden the day before her Tuesday appearance on his CBS show and Corden confessed he never caught on to the joke.

White, 93, called Corden with a list of special requests in a conversation that was conveniently captured on video and played during the star's appearance on the show, , reported People magazine.. White's requests started with changing the lighting and wall colors in her dressing room.

"My dressing room is brown, and there's nothing worse than brown," White told Corden in the recorded conversation. When Corden tried to convince her that the dressing room color was actually cream, she shot back, "Cream is just brown milked down."

White then told Corden she wanted to sing on the show – no particular number because she would simply take audience requests, reported E! News. Then, in true diva style, the comedian asked for all yellow M&Ms.

People said it was only after the phone call did his staff alert the talk show host to the hidden cameras in his office.

White's prank won approval of numerous people on social media.
