Beyonce's Hair Caught In Fan, But She Keeps On Singing (Video)

Beyonce Knowles' hair got caught in a fan during a concert in Montreal Monday and her team had to scramble to disentangle her golden locks from the fan as she continued singing.

Knowles was in the middle of her hit "Halo" when her hair got stuck in a large electrical fan on stage at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The Bell Centre was the one of two Canadian stops on "The Mrs. Carter World Tour," according to Knowles' concert website.

It took a team of handlers to free the famed pop star's tresses during the song and they eventually brought out a pair of scissors and cut her out.



But Knowles didn't miss a beat throughout the ordeal, continuing to sing as crew members rushed the stage and huddled around to assist her, The New York Daily News reported.

After the concert, Knowles had a little fun at her own expense, posting an Instagram video of the incident and writing new lyrics for "Halo" to fit what happened.

"Gravity can't begiiiiiiin/to pull me out of the fan again/I felt my hair was yankiiiiiiiin/From the fan that's always hatiiiiiiiin," she wrote. "I got snatched… goodnight all."

Knowles, known for her energized, highly choreographed shows, has had several unexpected incidents on stage. The singer has fallen off stage during concerts several times, including a nasty fall during a Brazil concert in 2010, according to the Daily Mail.

Beyoncé stopped her concert briefly in May in Copenhagen to scold an over-zealous fan who slapped her on the butt during her performance of "Irreplaceable."

But there were no incidents with fans, the electric kind nor eager concert goers, at her Boston concert on Tuesday at TD Garden. Knowles has several more scheduled performances coming, in Philadelphia on Thursday, Atlantic City on Friday, and Charlotte, N.C. on Sunday.

Knowles is married to rapper and record producer Jay Z.
