Bryan “Birdman” Williams, the rapper and producer who co-founded Cash Money Records, is looking to unload his waterfront Palm Island mansion for a price tag of $20 million.
According to The Real Deal, Williams purchased the Miami Beach property for $14.25 million in 2011 from Russell Weiner, the founder of Rockstar Energy Drink, and spent millions more in renovations.
The 20,000-square-foot residence boasts seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a 100-foot waterfront, a movie theater, two wine cellars, and a volleyball court.
“You can’t replace that square footage because of the new code. It’s almost unheard of in Miami unless you’re on a much larger piece of land,” co-listing agent Alex Daguer of Fortune International Realty told The Real Deal.
Williams, who has worked with artists like Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake, isn't the first music industry insider to have lived on the sprawling property at 70 Palm Avenue. The real estate website claims that famed producer Scott Storch once lived there.
Listing agent Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman said he's already shown the home to Chinese buyers and Saudi nationals.
