Movie hunk Brad Pitt got a haircut and chopped off his blond tresses, presumably for his upcoming role in “Fury,” and fans consider the new look a success.
Although Pitt showed off the haircut last week, he wore a baseball cap, so recent photos were the first that gave fans a good look at his new style.

In an Us Weekly survey, 80 percent of fans said they preferred his short hair over the long, which he’d been growing out since 2011.
Hollywood Life thought the new style looked a little like Miley Cyrus’ cut, long on top and short, shaved sides.
Us Weekly put together a photo collage of Pitt’s hairstyles through the years, with the dramatic variations in length and color almost always attributed to specific movie roles. From tousled dark hair worn long on top and short on the sides in 1999 for “Fight Club,” Pitt progressed through the years to long blond hair, short brown hair, and numerous tousled looks.
Pitt showed off his short hair in wedding pictures, and though they weren't his, maybe they were a practice run for his wedding to fiancée Angelina Jolie.
Twitter lit up Tuesday with stories of Pitt crashing a wedding, but the
Maidenhead Advertiser reported that it was more of a chance meeting that made a couple’s day even more special.
Abi Lingwood was having her wedding reception at an England hotel when her new husband spotted a welcome but uninvited guest. “My husband said to me Brad Pitt was at the bar and you have got to come with me so he dragged me across the hotel. I thought he was joking,” the bride told the Advertiser.
Turns out her husband was right, and Pitt was easy-going and gracious about taking a picture with the wedding couple.
“The girls were going wild and mental so Brad Pitt and the people he was with went upstairs to a room for their meeting,” Lingwood told the Advertiser.
