A Chuck E. Cheese brawl caught on camera in Georgia over the weekend has led to the arrests of four people.
Athens-Clarke County police were alerted to an altercation outside the popular restaurant and, arriving at the scene, discovered a group of people screaming obscenities at one another, Inside Edition reported.
The incident allegedly occurred when Kristen McCartt's child was bumped into by another child and McCartt confronted Sara Gibbs, Inside Edition said.
According to an Athens-Clarke County police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gibbs had pulled her child out of the restaurant when her child bumped into and knocked over another child.
McCart allegedly chased after Gibbs into the parking lot, where the fight escalated into violence.
Witnesses recorded the incident with their cellphones.
Athens-Clarke County Police Officer N. Della Fortuna said multiple people had attempted to separate the physical altercation, "which led to more pushing and yelling, causing the altercation to worsen," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted.
During the scuffle, McCartt’s boyfriend, Adidas Whitehead, allegedly hit at least two women.
McCartt, Gibbs and Whitehead along with another woman, Anna Petree, were all charged with public fighting, the newspaper reported.
Epifanio Rodriguez, the Athens Clarke County Police spokesperson, said per WSAV, "I can understand that when we’re dealing with our children, that sometimes emotions can get a little hot, but as adults I think we have to be able to control those emotions and be able to understand that fighting at a Chuck E. Cheese in front of our children is probably not something that we would want to do as adults."
