Smulders told the Calgary Herald. “I think I’m in 'Avengers 2,' but it is very top secret. I hope I’m in 'Avengers 2.' I didn’t get my invitation yet. Well, actually, they know I’m in it but they don’t know to what degree I’m in it.”

Whatever her role will be in the new movie, Smulders is just anxious to read the script.
“I am really excited to read the script because they are introducing Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch into the Avengers universe and the bad guy is going to be very interesting,” she told the newspaper at a Beverly Hills movie premiere.
Smulders’ "Avengers" role will also pop up in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
When she’s not playing Hill, Smulders stars in “How I Met Your Mother,” which is heading toward its final season.
“It hasn’t quite hit me yet,” Smulders told the Herald. “I do feel like after Christmas when we have only six episodes to shoot that it will start to get to me.”
Smulders admitted that she’s in a bit of denial that the popular TV show is ending.
“This is our last season, and I just started crying,” she told David Letterman on his show. “It’s like the best job in the world. I can’t believe I’ve been employed as an actress for nine years straight. It’s fantastic. I just love everybody so much.”
Smulders’ latest movie, “Delivery Man,” will be out Nov. 22.
