Demi Lovato: Kanye West Better Treat Kim Kardashian Right (Video)

By    |   Friday, 25 October 2013 08:49 AM EDT

Demi Lovato, "X Factor" judge and Kim Kardashian's gal pal, had some stern words for Kanye West when she heard the news that the celebrity power couple had gotten engaged Monday night.

"I've told Kanye before that if he doesn’t treat her well, I'm going to come after him," Lovato told E! Online. "I've known Kim for years and she's been such a good friend to me during some really hard times. She deserves that Giants stadium."

West popped the question to Kardashian on Monday, which was also her 33rd birthday, in grand style. He rented out AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, commissioned a 50-piece orchestra, and posted a proposal on the scoreboard.

"I'm extremely happy," Kardashian told E! Online after saying yes. "It's where I am at in my life and I hope people can see that because it's what's going on with me right now… Last night was truly magical! I am the luckiest girl in the world! I get to marry my best friend!"

The tight-knit Kardashian clan, best known for their reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," all tweeted their excitement about the proposal.

Kim Kardashian and West welcomed their first child — a daughter named North — in June.
