Dina Eastwood officially filed for divorce from Clint Eastwood Monday, ending the couple's 17-year marriage that friends say had been teetering on the edge for months.
A former TV news reporter, Dina Eastwood, 48, filed divorce papers in Monterey County Superior Court Monday citing irreconcilable differences. In the documents, Eastwood requested full physical custody of the couple's only child together — 16-year-old Morgan — and also asked that her 83-year-old soon-to-be-ex pay legal fees and spousal support.

Dina Eastwood first filed separation papers in September, but then withdrew the documents just two days later in what seemed to be a change of heart, though friends say she was suffering behind-the-scenes. Sources say the pair had been living apart for months after Clint Eastwood reportedly left his wife for his new girlfriend, Erica Fisher.
"Dina could not handle how Clint decided to live with his new girlfriend and her son. It tortured her,"
a source close to Dina Eastwood told Us Magazine. "She was deciding what to do and figure out the best course of action given this news so she withdrew the separation. But she decided this is what she needed to do now. She has been devastated."
Dina Eastwood was Clint Eastwood's second wife. He was previously married to Maggie Johnson for 31 years, though he's been described as a "serial womanizer." The "Million Dollar Baby" director also has seven children with five different women.
