Former Nickelodeon child star Drake Bell has found adult life tough, as the now 26-year-old
actor has filed for bankruptcy, according to TMZ.com.
Bell starred on "The Amanda Show" and "Drake & Josh."

In legal documents, Bell listed his monthly income at $2,820 per month, vs. $18,771 in expenses. He also said he's underwater on his mortgage, owing $1.579 million. Overall, Bell says he's $581,000 in debt, TMZ reported.
Bell stated that he made $408,000 in 2012, but only $14,099 in 2013, TMZ said.
Since his television show ended in 2008, Bell has done voiceover work, performed as a musician, and competed on ABC's diving competition, "Splash."
Bell isn't the only former young star to outspend his earnings. Fellow child star/musician
Aaron Carter, 25, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in November 2013. Citing legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Carter's assets totaled $8,232.16, with $2,204,854 in liabilities, which included a $31,166 American Express bill. The younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, Aaron Carter also owes more than $1 million to the IRS.
