Musician Ed Sheeran took to Instagram Monday to post a photo showing his right arm in a cast and his left arm in a sling following a bicycle accident.
The 26-year-old took warned his fans the injuries could cause issues with his performance schedule.
"Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I'm currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows," he wrote. "Please stay tuned for further news."
According to Us Weekly, Sheeran was struck by a car while cycling in London.
The singer was enjoying a brief break from his Divide tour, which was scheduled to resume Oct. 22 in Taipei and to run until late November. During these concerts, Sheeran performs solo onstage with an acoustic guitar — something that would be difficult with two injured arms.
He's unlikely to hire a backup band, either.
"I don't feel like there's anything interesting or new about seeing a singer-songwriter with a band behind them," he told the BBC earlier this year.
"I don't feel like if I suddenly got a band, everyone would go, 'Wow!' I actually feel it'd take away from me."
Sheeran is fast becoming known as one of the most injury prone celebrities around.
The singer-songwriter has sustained multiple injuries over the years, including a reoccurring burst ear drum, severe burns on his foot requiring a skin graft after accidentally stepping on a geyser on a volcano in Iceland, and getting his face gashed open during a fake knighting ceremony.
