Elizabeth Berkley took a twirl with former on-screen beau Mario Lopez in a small "Saved by the Bell" reunion for segment on Lopez's "Extra" show earlier this week.

The two played teens Jessie Spano and A.C. Slater in the popular show, and had an on-and-off relationship on-screen.

Berkley’s currently a contender on "Dancing with the Stars," a show Lopez also appeared on in 2006. He tweeted:

Berkley honored their time together in the 90s with her own tweet and back-in-time pic:

Their brief appearance together brought out the wishful thinking in fans.

Berkley is partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy on the "DWTS" season that launched this week. Interestingly, Berkley’s old TV show came up when Chmerkovskiy said on the first episode that he learned English by watching “Saved by the Bell.”

But then he said he liked Berkley’s co-star, Kelly Kapowski, better. Oops.
