As Gasoline Prices Surge, Twitter Users Fume

Though gasoline prices have been climbing for weeks, they surged last week due to signs of economic growth.

While some consumers are getting used to mounting prices, others have been awe-struck with some pump prices upwards of $5.

It all started with this photo:



Some have faulted President Barack Obama as the working class struggles to get by.







Conservative pundit Ann Coulter made light of the situation.



Jay Leno did as well.











Some don't find the situation amusing.







Others can't afford the cost at all.
