Google Breakup: Street View Cameras Catch Girl's Belongings on the Curb

Google Street View cameras appear to have a caught a messy breakup. And by messy, we mean all of one party’s belongings are strewn across the curb.

The image was taken during the “glorious moment when my buddy kicks his now ex-gf out of his house,” posted user lpmark04 on Reddit.com.

He goes on to say “this picture was taken a couple years ago since they have been broken up for a while now. My buddy no longer lives in the same town as me but I became aware of this recently by his brother who is currently my coworker. I find this even more hilarious because I actually knew this girl, as me and my then-gf, her and my buddy used to double date occasionally.”

But some commenters doubted the truth of the story.

While the picture does show a female standing next to a pile of stuff with the trunk of a car open, there appear to be car mats and lawn chairs laying on the ground. Commenters suggested the tale was made up around what is simply a picture of a girl cleaning out her car after a trip to the beach.

It’s not the first time Google Street View has caught some interesting stuff.

In 2010, a Google image showed a weird “Horse Boy” on the streets of Aberdeen, Scotland. The assumed man is seen standing on the sidewalk, wearing a horse head.

Mashable has compiled a list of “20 Strange and Hilarious Google Street View Sightings,” and we bet there are a lot more if you just, well, Google it.
