A biopic for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was reported to be in the works in Hollywood and could be released before to the 2016 presidential election. The question is, will Clinton be running then?
Entitled "Rodham," Clinton's maiden name, the film will focus on the former first lady's early career during the 1970s.
Though she has yet to officially announce
her candidacy in the 2016 presidential race, Clinton has not ruled out a run and is the
overwhelming favorite.

Most political insiders believe Clinton will run, considering her current popularity and the fact that
supporters have already set up a Super-PAC for the 2016 campaign.
If Clinton does run, "Rodham" could be the next "Zero Dark Thirty" in the minds of conservatives, who fear the biopic will help her campaign.
In the run up to the 2012 presidential election, Republicans charged "Zero Dark Thirty," about the hunt and eventual killing of Osama Bin Laden, was a propaganda piece that would influence the outcome of the 2012 presidential election in favor of Obama.
The film ended up being released a month after the election.
Ironically,
"Zero Dark Thirty" received criticism from mostly Democratic lawmakers who accused it of glorifying "torture" through its depiction of the CIA's interrogation program.
Topics covered in the Clinton film reportedly include the romantic drama that unfolds between Clinton and a young Bill Clinton as he makes his way up the political ladder in Arkansas. The film is set in part against the backdrop of the Watergate scandal, the Irish Independent reported.

The biopic's screenplay reportedly was written Korean-American screenwriter, Young II Kim.
The film reportedly will be produced by Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, who are known for their joint venture, the teen vampire franchise "The Twilight Saga."
Director of "The Spectacular Now," James Ponsoldt, reportedly has signed on to be the film's director.
A cast has yet to be confirmed, the Irish Independent reported.
