Is Hoda Kotb joining "The View"? The show reportedly wants the TV news anchor and "Today Show" host to come aboard, but Kotb has been tight-lipped about any changes.
Radar Online reports ABC is "very interested" in Kotb, whoe would bring news experience to the show, much like Meredith Viera did in the past, and also would add diversity. She currently appears on "The Today Show" during the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and also works as a Dateline correspondent.

Lots of changes have been occuring on "The View." Behar is finishing out her last season, Elizabeth Hasselbeck is leaving to join "Fox and Friends," and the show’s founder Barbara Walters is retiring.
Kotb has not yet commented on whether she may jump from "Today" to "The View," Parade reports. The news magazine said Kotb, 48, worked as a reporter and anchor on several news stations around the country at the beginning of her career. She’s been with Dateline since 1998.
In previous Parade articles, Kotb said she is used to a busy schedule and gets up at 4 a.m. She also told the magazine that her personal motto is, “You can’t scare me.”
Just because "The View" is eying Kotb doesn’t mean the host will make the switch.
An insider reportedly
told the New York Post that, “Hoda loves her job at 'Today' and she’s very happy laughing and scratching with Kathie Lee every day.”
Twitter spread the news of ABC’s potential look at Kotb for The View. At least one woman took the opportunity to put in for the job.
Others would hate to see Kotb’s wine-drinking with Gifford end.
