'Hot Felon' Divorce: Jeremy Meeks Officially Files for Split

Jeremy Meeks, dubbed the "hot felon," has filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Melissa.

Meeks became a model after his prison mug shot went viral in 2014 (and after he served jail time for gang-related activity).

He was spotted in June making out with TopShop heir Chloe Green, and has decided to get serious with Green and end his marriage, TMZ reported. He had previously filed to separate from his wife in July.

Meeks, who has two sons with his wife, also filed for joint legal and physical custody of Jeremy Jr., age 7.

“He will always support his children,” a source told E! News.

Meeks listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, E! News reported after viewing court documents. In return, Melissa Meeks has filed for spousal support and for the court to block giving her husband any spousal support.

“Jeremy wants to marry Chloe eventually,” the source told to E! News. “Jeremy has changed and moved on from his wife. He wants to focus on the future with Chloe.”

“He is very in love with Chloe,” the source continued. “Chloe’s family treats and supports them as a couple.”
