Hulk Hogan is the latest victim of an Internet death hoax but fear not wrestling fans, as the former pro turned reality TV star is just fine.
The Epoch Times reported Saturday that the hashtag #RIPHulkHogan began trending on Twitter, seemingly stemming from a "R.I.P. Hulk Hogan" Facebook page.
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (August 02, 2014), our beloved actor Hulk Hogan passed away. Hulk Hogan was born on August 11, 1953 in Augusta. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page," MediaMass.net reported, quoting the fictitious Facebook page.

"There's been no confirmation or credible reports that the 60-year-old wrestler died," the Epoch Times wrote.
Indeed, Hogan has been very active on Twitter since Saturday, but hasn't addressed the death hoax.
Still, the news continued to spread on social media Monday.
Hogan is a member of the WWE Entertainment Hall of Fame. Along with his WWE wrestling exploits, Hogan starred with his family in the reality series "Hogan Knows Best," which last appeared on VH1 in 2007. In 2008, Hogan's wife Linda filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage.
