Jaden Smith, the 16-year-old son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, wore a dress to prom over the weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, Smith attended prom with Amandla Stenberg, the young woman who played Rue in the first "Hunger Games" movie, released in 2012.
Stenberg documented the occasion on Twitter.
In the photographs she posted, Jaden is seen wearing what appears to be a calf-length white skirt over black leggings, a long black top, long blazer, as well as white and gold fingerless gloves. He also has the traditional white rose and baby's breath boutonniere pinned to his lapel.
Stenberg herself is wearing a gold-colored halter neck tunic over a floor-length black skirt, which matches her gold septum ring.
Smith is no stranger to clothes usually worn by women, and has been spotted in public a handful of times wearing dresses and skirts. Previously, on his Twitter account, he once wrote, "[I] Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean 'Clothes,'" which seemed to criticize gendered garments. The same Twitter post, which was part of his now-defunct account, also included a picture of him in a T-shirt dress.
The fashion maven also wore an all-white Batman costume with a cape to another prom.
