Jennifer Kesse went missing nine years ago Saturday from her Orlando condominium, and now the police department has released an age-progressed photo of what the young woman would look like today, asking that it be circulated on social media.
Kesse, who was 24 when she disappeared, was last seen at her newly purchased condo; her car was found a few blocks away and the Orlando Police Department believes she was abducted.
Kesse’s parents, Joyce and Drew Kesse, have spent the last nine years looking for their daughter, maintaining a
website and a
Facebook group.
The Orlando Sentinel said police have received more than 1,000 tips, but no one has been able to determine what happened to Kesse. She also was featured on television shows, including Fox News’ "On the Record With Greta Van Susteren" and "48 Hours."
On their website, Joyce and Drew Kesse beg for people to put out the age-progressed photo everywhere they can.
“As we sit here trying to ask ourselves what words to write that would touch someone’s heart enough to come forward, we realize that they have been written and spoken so many times over the past 9 years,” the couple wrote on the home page. “We realize that more than one person knows what has happened to Jennifer and we know you may be very afraid to speak up. You shouldn’t be because if you know of the person(s) committing the act of Abduction on our loved ones it will continue until you do speak up. It will continue to haunt you until the little voice in your head says ‘I must tell what I know I must stop these crimes that no one deserves to have committed on them.’”
The couple also said that sooner or later, their daughter will be found. She would be 33 years old now.
