Jennifer Lawrence may be one of the hottest young Hollywood stars after winning an Oscar earlier this year, but the actress revealed recently that before she was an Academy Award winner, she was called "fat" and a "stuttering idiot" while on the job.
"I was young. It was just the kind of s— that actresses have to go through,"
the 23-year-old "Hunger Games" star told Harper's Bazaar UK in a cover story for the November issue. "Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet."

Lawrence won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook" in February and says now that her new Hollywood cred ensures that she'll never be bullied again.
"I know it’ll never happen to me again," she said. "If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet,' I’m like, ‘You can go f— yourself.'"
This isn’t the first time Lawrence has discussed her past as a target for bullies. Earlier this year, she opened up about her experiences growing up in Kentucky.
"I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,"
she told British tabloid The Sun in March. "They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn't invited to. But that was fine, I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can."
Lawrence's next installment of the "Hunger Games" series — "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" — premiers Nov. 22.
