The Best Actress Oscar won by Jennifer Lawrence for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook" has been taken to Kentucky by the star's parents, who didn't like how their daughter displayed the Academy Award in her house,
according to Access Hollywood.
Not that Lawrence is complaining.
"I put it in the hallway towards the bathroom, and my mom was like, 'I'm taking it. It shouldn't be here.' And now it's on a piano in Kentucky!" Lawrence said.
"I felt odd having it, like, on display in my house," the 22-year-old actress and "Hunger Games" star told Access Hollywood. "If anybody's coming over to my house, I didn't want them to remember that. Just kind of puts a weird energy out."
Lawrence will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" sequel. She discussed recent events during Comic-Con 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center. The
Huffington Post noted the Academy Award winner said she had a pretty good time filming the latest flick while on location in Hawaii. It also reported the celebrity looked pretty hot in a crop top she sported at Comic-Con.
Also at Comic-Con was "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley, who said on a panel discussion that she had turned to Lawrence for some words of wisdom regarding the former’s commitment to the upcoming movie series.
Among the tips, Woodley told
Vanity Fair, was this gem: "It will be the best thing that ever happened. But don't be an idiot, do a sex tape (or) do drugs. And go to Whole Foods when your movie opens."
Many are comparing "Divergent" to "The Hunger Games." Woodley portrays a teen seeking an identity in a futuristic society. The movie is based on Neil Burger's adaptation of a best-selling novel by Veronica Roth, and sequels are already in the works.
